Redefining Family, My Way: A New Blog Series on Love, Boundaries, and Belonging.
For a long time, I thought family had to look a certain way, one household, two parents, a shared last name. But life, in all its beauty and messiness, had other plans for me.
Becoming a mum reshaped everything. Not just my body and my routine, but my sense of self, and my understanding of what family really means.
This new blog series, Redefining Family, My Way, is my way of unlearning the outdated rules and honouring the version of family I’m building now. It’s imperfect, it’s evolving, and it’s full of heart.
Over the next few posts, I’ll be writing about things like:
- Co-parenting and letting go of guilt
- What it means when your child has two homes
- Boundaries with extended family
- The quiet grief of unmet expectations
- And the deep love that can still grow from a non-traditional setup
This series is for any mum who’s ever felt like she didn’t fit the mold, and wondered if that meant she was doing it wrong. You’re not. You’re just doing it your way. And that’s more than enough.
Let’s build something real, together.
With love,
